Setting the Literature world alight last Sunday, three members of the LIT team (Europe's only reading and writing festival for young people run by young people) performed dynamic and inspiring spoken word pieces at this year's 'All Together Now' festival at Curraghmore House.

With great charisma and obvious talent, these passionate young readers and writers took to the stage and performed their own composed work and the audience's reaction was very positive. Throughout these performances their talent shone through and who knows where these talented young people will go from here, but one thing for sure these members along with the rest of the team will be back in action at this year's LIT Festival.

The second annual LIT Young Writers Festival will run on the 9th and 10th of November, with events running throughout Waterford City including Workshops run by well known Authors, Open MIC Sessions, Poetry Jams and more. If last years quality is anything to go by this years LIT Festival will be fantastic.

The LIT Team is the Creative Writing wing of Waterford Youth Arts, for more information and to keep up to date on this year's LIT visit the LIT Festival website or follow them on social media for their latest news.
