The Health Equality for the South East (HESE) group which has been campaigning for 24/7 Cardio services in the South East and in Waterford in particular have come up with a novel way to promote the campaign.

The four senior hurling panels, Waterford, Kilkenny, Wexford and Tipperary have come out in support of the campaign as have their county managers.

On Sunday next at the Waterford versus Kilkenny National Hurling League game supporters at the match are asked to place their hand on their hearts when the National Anthem is being played.

The match which will be covered live will indicate how strongly all people in the south east feel about the lack of cardio services in the region.

This is just one of the many public displays, as well as public meetings, You can view their facebook and twitter page on and like their pages. This is another aspect of the continuous public demand in the South East for 24/7 cardiac care services in Waterford
