Comeragh Mountaineering Club

Tom Fallon will lead a walk next Sunday 2nd September to the Skillogues. This is the first walk of the season. Meet at Hypermarket at 10am. Boots essential, food, hot drink advised. This is an easy walk, all details from Dick 086 2652768.

Cnoc Bui ARA Will resume after the Summer Break

Meeting takes place on Wednesday 5th September at 2pm at The Woodlands Hotel.

We will have a speaker from I.T. for those who want to learn computer skills

On 19th September we have arranged an outing to Ormonde Castle and Dove hill.

Will those going on outing, please put 15 euro in envelope with your details.

Committee are proposing a trip to Russborough House and Gardens in October. Names taken for those interested with deposit at this meeting.

Friends of University Hospital Waterford

The Friends of University Hospital Waterford will benefit from a Table Quiz night to be held in the Cove Bar on the Dunmore Road on Thursday 6th September at 8.30 p.m. All proceeds will go to support patient needs at University Hospital Waterford. Top Prize of €100 for the winning table. There will also be a raffle on the night. Bring a team or join a table, €5 per person. All are welcome.

Edmond Rice Choral Society

Rehearsals start on Thursday 13th September. You will be notified of time and new venue by the usual text message. We look forward to another year of music and singing.There is great companionship and fun between the ladies. Our Musical Director, Catherine Power, keeps us all in good voice. We have a well balanced Three Part choir but we would welcome more Sopranos to join us. Ladies think about it, its a great pastime for winter. Rosary Procession

A Rosary Procession in honour of our Lady's Birthday will take place on Saturday the 8th of September leaving Ballybricken Green Waterford City at 3pm and proceeding to the Cathedral for Benediction. All are welcome.
