exhale More than a Beauty Salon...

More than a Spa...

It's an holistic experience...

Exhale, Waterford's newest beauty experience, has been open for 4 months at the Cleaboy Business Park in Waterford. The meeting of minds of beauty therapist Celene Cullen and business partner Fiona Dowd, this is a beauty business with a difference.

Exhale's aim is to allow clients, both women & men, to totally switch off from their everyday lives. The salon itself is an oasis of calm, flooded with natural light, it's neutral tones and warm scented air are relaxing and welcoming, and the sound of water features trickling just adds to the ambience.

Fiona and Celene decided to open Exhale when they both then saw an opportunity for the two ladies to work together to create something special. A cancer survivor, Fiona knows all too well the need to look and feel good when facing a battle and also how important what you put into and onto your body is. To this end, all products used at Exhale are non-toxic, paraben free and organic. The salon uses Voya, a seaweed and essential oil based range, Fuschia make up and Tomitago - all Irish brands, all organic and paraben free. Even the nail varnish brand used Ella & Mila is organic. Products used in the salon are available to purchase too. And Celene has completed a course with Voya specifically to address the needs of clients who are dealing with Cancer.

But Exhale is about so much more than beauty or beauty products, it's a stress release haven, right on your doorstep. It's about making sure the client is comfortable and relaxed and at ease for their appointment regardless of what challenges they're facing in their lives. They know they are in safe hands at Exhale.

At Exhale, Celene believes its her mission to provide a restorative setting and provide the best in holistic beauty treatment to allow the client to feel the absolute best they can.

As well as beauty treatments Exhale offer reflexology and and will soon be expanding their space to offer a wide range of complementary health modalities from yoga to floatation tanks!

It has already happened so far this year with the snow that totally disrupted the country for about a week and also later on when some areas in the country were flooded due to excess rain. Now it is happening again because we are having to deal with a level of sunshine that is virtually unheard of in the country. And a level of sunshine that is going on for a good numbe …
