South East Simon wants your unwanted household and clothing items! A clear out day will be held Saturday July 8th in the Woodie’s Car Park on the Cork road between the hours of 10am and 3pm.

South East Simon Community is a local charity providing services to people currently experiencing or those at risk of homelessness in Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny and South Tipperary. We have been providing these services since 2004.

The Simon shop on Michael Street is a one stop shop for clothes, books, toys, bric-a-brac and small items of furniture. It relies solely on your kind donations of items and clothing that you no longer need or want.

According to Peter McGrath, South East Simon shop manager, the charity shop is a vital revenue stream for the charity and he hopes that people will come out in force for the Clear-out Day to help a very worthy cause.

Peter McGrath from The Open Door and a team of volunteers will be on hand to accept the goods on the day. They will be at Woodies Car Park on Saturday July8th from 10am to 3pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

Don’t forget… your unwanted items can be someone else’s treasure.
