ONE of Ireland's most beloved entertainers, Freddie White, comes to Garter Lane on Saturday July 14 for what is surely going to be an unforgettable night of music and stories.

Freddie is a music legend. His name has always been synonymous with music of the highest quality whether he is interpreting songs from his favourite writers, such as Tom Waites, Randy Newman or Guy Clarke, or performing his own classy compositions.

The tour is called 'One Heart Beating' named after his 14th album.

In the past he's been involved in bands such as 'Scullion' with Philip King ande Sonny Condell and 'The Fake' who were regarded as one of the seminal bands of the 1970s. Then came 'The Freddie White Band' which toured with the great Eric Clapton. Show starts at 8pm.

    As dry as the SaharaIt seems that whenever the weather in Ireland goes a little bit extreme, we are somehow incapable of dealing with it. It has already happened so far this year with the snow that totally disrupted the country for about a week and also later on when some areas in the country were flooded due to excess rain.
