The first Weekend of December is upon us and the Christmas Spirit has certainly landed in the Apple Market entertainment district. The place looks fantastic with the full Christmas ‘Winter Village’ makeover resulting in a full on festive atmosphere at all the bars and restaurants in the area, with Shortts slap bang in the middle of it for your After Hours Fun ! The full line up of live music and DJs for the weekend is:

FRIDAY – HIGH DEFINITION + GROOVE DJs

High Definition look sharp and play even sharper. The 5 piece have a great set of pop, rock and soul classics, all delivered with bags of energy and top notch musicianship. Out on the Terrace the Groove DJs will be getting you in weekend mode with their bag of funk, disco and house floor-fillers.

SATURDAY THE GROOVE REPUBLIC + MARSHAL + GOOD TIMES DJS

It’s a Shortts debut for The Groove Republic from Cashel in Tipperary. The lads play the best of soul, funk, rock and disco. Upstairs in Project, Marshal will be playing a great mix of techno & house will full club production. Meanwhile on the Terrace, Good Times’ Jay Ru will be playing a Saturday night mix of floor fillers, completing 3 rooms of top quality entertainment through the Shortts alley door.

SUNDAY THE SAUCEBIRDS + SOCIAL DJS

The Saucebirds are your hosts with the most at Shortts Super Sunday Session this week , so you are guaranteed the best of Britpop classics from Oasis, Blur, Ocean Colour Scene, Kaiser Chiefs, Stereophonics, Arctic Monkeys and the rest ! The Social on the Terrace will see out the weekend with another great mix of disco, funk, house and hip-hop.
