Waterford's Countercultures 1979-1996 Upcoming Exhibition 17-19 November.

This exhibition will take place at Goma Modern Art Gallery, Lombard Street Waterford. Running from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. it will feature numerous images, soundtracks, and associated memorabilia relating to the origins and legacy of movements and scenes such as bikers, Mods, Ska, Punk, Indie and underground dance.

The exhibits will include quotes from those who were founding figures in the aforementioned groups, along with commentaries that will detail the significance of the items displayed. This combination of imagery and text will offer rare and invaluable insights into Waterford's countercultural heritage.
