The “Churchyard Sessions”, a series of free open air concerts on Bailey’s New Street every Saturday evening presented by The Reg, has been an amazing success this Summer. With the backdrop of the medieval French Church, the Churchyard Sessions are set in a natural amphitheatre. With The Reg serving cold pints and a hot BBQ outside at the Sessions and a Full Bar available just inside, an evening at the Churchyard Sessions has all you need. Ryan Sheridan is next up at the Churchyard this Saturday 12th August from 8pm and this gig promises to be the best one yet.

Ryan, a multi instrumentalist, came from the busking streets to a centre stage headline act in less than a year. A gifted and inventive guitarist, he has combined his six-string skills with percussive attack to create a unique sound that has thrilled packed houses worldwide. A born entertainer, this passionate singer with a gift for storytelling is a commanding stage presence; and his acoustic-driven, anthemic songs, connects with audiences wherever he is seen and heard.

Ryan Sheridan's debut album – 'The Day You Live Forever' – was released in 2011. Fuelled by the massive hits 'Jigsaw' and 'The Dreamer', the album went on to achieve platinum status in Ireland. Packed arena shows followed with Bryan Adams, The Script and Taylor Swift, and Ryan's international reputation started to spread.

2012 saw deals done with Universal Music in Europe and Australia, and 'The Day You Live Forever' climbed to the top of the German charts. Extensive touring followed, and much of 2013 was spent thrilling European audiences with his high-octane live shows.

With a teenage apprenticeship on Broadway NYC, it is no surprise that live performance underpins the ability of Ryan Sheridan. High-energy explosions such as 'Stand Up Tall' are now balanced with haunting ballads like '2 Back To 1' and ‘Home’.

Uplifting high-energy highlights from the new album include the lead-off single and title track ‘Here And Now’, the dizzy radio rush of ‘Hearsay’ and the whistle-while-you-work ‘Burn Down’. With a teenage apprenticeship as a dancer, it is no surprise that rhythm underpins the music of Ryan Sheridan. His songs are torn from the pages of a passport seeking out the wonders of life, from joy to sorrow; and all stations in between.

In 2015, Ryan Sheridan’s second album ‘Here And Now’ went straight to No.1 in the Irish charts.

Ryan Sheridan will release his new album in Ireland on Friday 28th August. ‘Here And Now’ was recorded in Ireland and Germany, and is the follow up to his Irish platinum selling debut ‘The Day You Live Forever’.

A brand new single ‘Hearsay’ is being released to coincide with the arrival of the new album.

Ryan Sheridan can’t wait to bring his thrilling, all-embracing new music to his fans across the South East. There’s a fire in his belly, anticipating stories to be told, rooms to be rocked; and fresh chapters to be written.
