Happy 25Th To Spraoi From Shortts & Project

It’s hard to believe that the good people at Spraoi have been giving us the best Street Festival in Ireland for 25 years now. Shortts and Project are delighted to be hosting the following events in association with Spraoi 25:

Kick off your Spraoi weekend with Deise 5 piece Suzie Q who always deliver a brilliant set of classic rock & pop covers to a full dancefloor at Shortts. Out on the Terrace the Groove DJ crew will be getting you into Spraoi weekend party mode.

It’s Waterford’s biggest night out, so don’t miss ‘AAA’ with 3 rooms of top quality entertainment through the Shortt’s alley entrance. Special guests for Spraoi Saturday are BUFFALO SOUL who are a collective of musicians from all over the world (based in Dublin), who play a 2 hour tribute to the King of Reggae, Bob Marley. Project resident DJ Marshal & guests will be Presenting another HUGE night of Ibiza Classics upstairs with full club layout, while The Good Times crew will be doing their disco & funk thang on the Terrace. All this great entertainment plus 2 spacious heated smoking areas are under the one roof at 10 John Street so come on down and be part of Waterford’s BIGGEST party this Spraoi Saturday, doors 10pm.

The most exciting live act coming to Spraoi 25 is The Sweet Life Society who round off the weekend at Shortts. This eccentric act mixes contemporary tunes with old school gems. Re-styling the Swing Music culture into a blend of electronic sounds, all enhanced by the live performances of some of the best jazz musicians from Northern Italy. The Social sees out Spraoi Bank Holiday weekend on the Terrace with a great mix of disco, funk, house and hip-hop.
