Each year WYA embark on an ambitious Summer Theatre Project (15-19 yrs) for 2017 we have the services of excellent local theatre Director Liam Meagher, pictured left, who will work with the cast of 20 actors to create a brand new play written by Martina Collender, pictured right. The play has the working title of 'Still We Sing' on Saturday April 29th we will have a workshop day (11am to 1pm / and 2pm to 4pm) to explore some of the ideas for the play.

If you are interested in getting involved in the project please complete a registration form at the office in the Arch Barrack Street and come along on Saturday 29th April - cost to participate in the Summer Project is €20.

Liam Meagher is great to work with - you will learn lots in the process, have lots of fun but you will also help in the production of the play by creating and determining your own character.

The dates of the summer theatre project are Monday 17th July to Sat. 26th August. The show runs the week of 21st to 26th August at Garter Lane Theatre.
