Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Tribute With Special Guests, comes to Forum Waterford

For the first time ever, much loved Disney characters from four popular TV shows appear together live on stage in an unforgettable celebration of the Magic that is Disney. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Tribute brings audiences into the colourful worlds of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, Dora the Explorer, Boots the Monkey and Peppa Pig.

Mickey Mouse hosts the show and wants to sing but when everyone gets the hiccups' they have to find ways of curing them. With participation from the audience and help from Mickey's friends on stage, they all soon get there singing voices back and everyone joins in a sing song with all the gang. The Hunt is a disturbing depiction of how a lie becomes the truth when gossip, doubt and malice are allowed to flourish and ignite a witch-hunt that soon threatens to destroy an innocent man's life.

Mads Mikkelsen plays Lucas, a highly-regarded school teacher who has been forced to start over having overcome a tough divorce. Just as things are starting to go his way, his life is shattered. An untruthful remark throws the small community into a collective state of hysteria. The lie is spreading and Lucas is forced to fight a lonely fight for his life and dignity.

The Hunt will screen in Garter Lane Arts Centre on Sunday, April 7th, at 8pm.

Exhibition at Tramore Coast Guard Station

An exhibition by artist Teresa Moran is on display from 5th to 28th April at the Tramore Coast Guard Station, an historic building with an Arts Centre and coffee shop.

Teresa, who grew up in Carrick-on-Suir, studied the techniques of the old Masters in Italy for two years. Some of her landscapes, which include the Comeragh Mountains and Slievenamon, can be viewed at http://www.artbyteresamoran.com Her angel artwork is done in the style of Italian Renaissance artists, as featured on her website http://www.halosandwings.com .

The Coast Guard Station art exhibition features Teresa's latest Landscapes and new Angel paintings. Garter Lane Arts Centre is proud to announce, L'Armoire; an exhibition of painting, textiles and sculpture by Kathleen Delaney. Join us on Friday 5 April for a wine reception with special guest Dr. Peter Jordan.

In L'Armoire, there is a dialogue between the inner and the outer worlds, the external reflecting the internal, a mirror in time. These works investigate the armour worn out into the world. Kathleen Delaney takes the image of a wardrobe merged and entwined with a living root system that serves to ground the object.
