Wednesday 2nd of October is a night for the diary as we welcome back Waterford's hottest 5 piece.

The Unusual Suspects are a Waterford based band who in their brief yet exciting life so far has managed to climb the entertainment ladder and perform in some of Ireland's top venues and alongside some of the country's most sought after bands. With a jam packed calendar this is certainly one of Ireland's hardest working groups. The powerful stage performance creates an almost enigmatic symbiotic relationship between the crowd and the band as people are brought through dynamic and diverse genres of music, from the trumpet grooves of Stevie Wonder, the reggae beats of Bob Marley, the classic scream of Led Zeppelin, the modern flow of Bruno Mars and the spine chilling blast of Pink Floyd, crowds are always left screaming formore.

Viola Quintet Opening Concert Season

The viola, this beautiful, deep sounding violin, has always enthralled composers and listeners alike, in

classical and also in pop music. Mozart "liberated" the viola by

writing solo passages for the

instrument in his six string quintets, some of which are seen as his greatest works.

Waterford~Music open their 72nd season of 8 international chamber music concerts in the Large Room with the string quintets of Mozart and Mendelssohn, the former with it’s dark and melancholic mood and the latter emotionally intense.

Performed by Tom D u n n and the C a l l i n o Quartet, who will also play Janacek’s first string quartet, which was inspired by Tolstoy’s

novella The Kreutzer Sonata, based on Beethoven’s violin sonata of the same name.

Viola player Tom Dunn, a native of Yorkshire and member of The

London Bridge Ensemble and the Aiso Quartet,

By 12 weeks the baby in the womb has a beating heart, can swallow and yawn, can kick, stretch and jump, has arms, legs, fingers and toes, has fingernails and hair, h …
