Cardiac Activation event 28th October

Dear editor

Health Equality for the South East is to hold a Cardiac Activation event on Saturday 28th of October in Waterford city.

The event will be supported by local campaign groups SEPAG and 24 Cardiac Care for the South East. Local Emergency responders and Voluntary ambulance personnel will also be on hand to demonstrate first response activity and CPR to the general public. Supporters will also hand out information leaflets with a voting declaration encouraging the public to become actively engaged and follow the example of Waterford Chamber of Commerce and Irish Heart Foundation in supporting the event. Some well known faces will also be in attendance.

Activity is planned to commence from 1:30 PM in the Apple Market and John Roberts square areas of the city. Please come and support this ‘Hand On Heart’ event to demonstrate your desire to see 24/7 cardiac care services delivered in the south-east.

Yours

Matt Shanahan
