If there is one thing worse than one referendum than it has to be a whole slew of referenda which we are told that we are due in the next year or so. Let's hope that somehow some of the referenda can be held on the same day so as to make them easier to get through. Although if you are a child of primary going age then the wider you can space them all out the better.

We have only been told that there are going to be referenda on a number of issues there is one that we have already had some lobbying on and that is the Eight Amendment with the March for Choice which was held on Saturday in Dublin with a similar rally being held on the same subject in London. If past experiences are anything to go by out of all of the referenda it is the Eight Amendment one that will be the most contested and the most divisive and that is without the date for it being set already.

    As dry as the SaharaIt seems that whenever the weather in Ireland goes a little bit extreme, we are somehow incapable of dealing with it. It has already happened so far this year with the snow that totally disrupted the country for about a week and also later on when some areas in the country were flooded due to excess rain.
